  The “Stop the Bleed” campaign is a districtwide safety initiative that trains civilian bystanders in bleeding control principles, including the use of tourniquets and wound packing. Bleeding control kits are now available at all campuses as a component of our emergency preparedness for the safety of our students and staff.

Students enjoy programs such as choir, chess, robotics, cheer, track, and soccer. The school is proud of its outdoor Science lab activities, junior chefs and wellness programs, large circulation of library books, and active parent center. • Summer Food Service Program Featured

  The Summer Food Service Program was created in 1968 to provide funds for organizations that wanted to feed children while school was no longer in session. San Benito is offering meals to students free of charge at various locations. Students are able to eat free breakfast and lunch. The district’s Child Nutrition Program has partnered with the San Benito Boys & Girls club, local churches, and the public library to provide meals for students participating in their programs.

• Super Dads & Superintendent of School visit Rangerville Elementary Featured

  Rangerville Elementary invited their “Super Dads” to make and fly paper airplanes with their children, and the Superintendent of Schools read to students in their classrooms. These were among the many creative and unique ways that Rangerville students celebrated Texas Public Schools Week.
