• Summer Food Service Program Featured

  The Summer Food Service Program was created in 1968 to provide funds for organizations that wanted to feed children while school was no longer in session. San Benito is offering meals to students free of charge at various locations. Students are able to eat free breakfast and lunch. The district’s Child Nutrition Program has partnered with the San Benito Boys & Girls club, local churches, and the public library to provide meals for students participating in their programs.

  San Benito CISD trustees and administration recognized staff for their dedication to the district at the End-of-the-Year Employee Awards Assembly. San Benito High School honor students, NJROTC cadets and La Encantada’s Folkloric dance group participated. Staff members heard a Year-in-Review accomplishments from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nate Carman and a message on behalf of Michael A. Vargas, board president.
