The SBCISD Library Services held their Fourth Annual Battle of the Books Competition for middle schools on January 25 and the Third Annual Battle of the Bluebonnet Books Competition for elementary schools on January 29.
Students and their coaches were required to read five books and compete against other district teams in a trivia style competition.
Congratulations to the Berta Cabaza Middle School team for winning the middle school competition!
Congratulations also to Elementary winners. They include:
First place: Judge Oscar De La Fuente Elementary
Second place: La Paloma Elementary
Third place: Rangerville Elementary
The first place winners of both competitions, and the SBHS/VMA team will advance to the Region One Battle of the Books Competition on Feb. 14-16, 2018.
